Swedish Massage - 80 hrs

Start with the history and theory behind the five basic strokes of the most popular form of massage. Numerous protocols for a full body massage are covered, as are techniques for applying lotion and proper draping of the client. Some of the additional class segments include sidelying massage, grounding for the practitioner, body reading, subtle aspects of touch and work over clothes. In this introductory class, students will learn the fundamentals of proper body mechanics for a long and healthy career.

Anatomy & Physiology A - 15 hrs
